• Email address (used for authentication via magic link)
• Profile information you provide: display name, home airport, certificates, aircraft experience, availability, and bio
• Posts and requests you create on the platform
• Usage data such as pages visited and actions taken within the app

How We Use Information

• To operate and improve the PilotLinker platform
• To enable pilots to find and connect with one another
• To send transactional emails (authentication links, notifications)
• To enforce our Terms of Service and community standards

We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Hosting & Data Processors

PilotLinker is hosted on Vercel and uses Supabase for its database and authentication infrastructure. Your data is stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases secured with Row-Level Security (RLS), ensuring that users can only access data they are authorized to view.

Both Vercel and Supabase are SOC 2 compliant providers. By using PilotLinker, you acknowledge that your data is processed by these third-party infrastructure providers under their respective privacy policies.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including database-level Row-Level Security, HTTPS encryption in transit, and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Profile information you choose to make public (such as your display name, home airport, and availability) is visible to other authenticated users of PilotLinker. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

Your Responsibilities

PilotLinker does not independently verify pilot certificates, licenses, ratings, or insurance coverage. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your credentials are current, valid, and compliant with applicable FAA regulations and applicable law before engaging in any flight activity arranged through this platform.

By using PilotLinker, you represent that you are acting in compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, insurance requirements, and airworthiness standards.
